Welcome to 2018!

We sincerely hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable holiday season filled with family, friends, and fun.  Be sure to check out this website and our Facebook page for upcoming events and training!

First 2018 Team Meeting

Our first meeting for 2018 will be held on January 24 at 6:00 p.m. (1800 hours) at the Holley-Navarre Senior Center, 8476 Gordon Goodin Lane, across the street from the Navarre Library.  We will be receiving First Aid / CPR training that night.  All CERT members are STRONGLY encouraged to attend.  Visitors are also welcome, but we ask that you contact our Coordinator for more information.

Note that our team meetings are held monthly on the fourth Wednesday of each month.  The start time is always 6:00 p.m.  Meetings usually last 1-2 hours and offer CERT-related information along with refresher training.  Occasionally, we have guest speakers from within the community.  Everyone is cordially invited to attend and find out what CERT is all about.

2018 NKOJ Mardi Gras Parade

On February 3, the Navarre Krewe of Jesters will be holding their annual Mardi Gras parade on Gulf Boulevard at beautiful Navarre Beach.

Due to the large crowd that this event draws, all available CERT members are encouraged to attend.

See the CERT Calendar menu option for more information and sign up.

Is Your Group Prepared?

Navarre CERT meets the fourth Wednesday of every month. So our next meeting is scheduled for October 26 at 6:00 p.m.

The class runs approximately 1 hour, depending on questions. We'll bring the equipment and materials and provide a personable teacher with great presentation skills and professional teaching experience.

The class is built around three steps to preparedness: (1) Get a kit, (2) Make a plan, (3) Be informed. For more information and scheduling, email our President.
