CERT repeater frequency

Area Frequencies Of Interest

Here are some area frequencies to tune into. For frequencies in the Amateur Radio band, the required offset and pl tone are indicated.

Amateur Radio

Analog Frequencies:

  • 444.200 MHz (plus offset, pl 131.8 Hz):
       Navarre CERT repeater. Used during local events
  • 146.700 MHz (minus offset, pl 100.0 Hz):
       Santa Rosa Emergency Management Amateur Radio repeater, K4SRC, located at the Milton EOC.  This is the primary link frequency between the EOC and its remote operations such as Navarre CERT or evacuation shelters.  This is also the primary frequency for any SkyWarn activation.
       This repeater hosts a net every Tuesday evening at 2000 hours. All radio amateurs are encouraged to check in.
  • 146.520 MHz (simplex):
       National Amateur Radio 2-meter calling frequency
  • 446.000 MHz (simplex):
       National Amateur Radio 70-centimeter calling frequency
  • 146.790 MHz (minus offset, pl 100.0 Hz)
       Playground Amateur Radio Club repeater, W4ZBB, located in Fort Walton Beach.
       This repeater hosts a net every Sunday evening at 1930 hours. All radio amateurs are encouraged to check in.
  • 147.360 MHz (plus offset, pl 100.0 Hz):
       North Okaloosa Amateur Radio Club repeater, W4AAZ, located in Crestview.
       This repeater hosts a net every evening at 2000 hours. All radio amateurs are encouraged to check in.

D-Star Frequencies:

  • KI4WZA (Milton, Santa Rosa County)
    2 Meters: 147.330 MHz, plus offset
    70 cm: 444.925 MHz, plus offset
  • K4FWB (Crestview, Okaloosa County)
    2 Meters: 145.130 MHz, minus offset
    70 cm: 444.600 MHz, plus offset

Other Frequencies Of Interest

  • 158.925 MHz:
       South Santa Rosa County Fire Dispatch
  • 453.975 MHz:
       Santa Rosa Sheriff South County (a.k.a. Channel 1)
  • 162.400 MHz:
       National Weather Service broadcast for the Florida Panhandle.  The antenna is located near Milton.

NCARC MEETING

The next meeting for the Navarre CERT Amateur Radio Club is scheduled for August 5, 6:00 p.m. at the Holley-Navarre Fire Station #45 training room.  This is the station behind McDonald's in the Winn Dixie shopping center on US 98.  All club members and others who are interested are encouraged to attend.
